A Golden Afternoon

I have officially been in Marquette for 2 weeks now. It's a good feeling to finally feel like you belong somewhere. I managed to sleep til 11 today and i didnt even go to bed that late last night! I guess i just needed to catch up on some sleep. Sara, our friend Chris and i all went hiking this afternoon up Sugarloaf Mountain. It was a pretty easy hike compared to the one we did last time i was up here. We took lots of pictures at the top and just enjoyed God's scenery. It's so amazing what God has provided us with and it even more amazing when you stop and take the time to enjoy it.

We later went to the library to get some quiet time to get some homework done and get ahead start on this week of classes. We really want to make it a habit of going at least once a week. I have a feeling i will spend sometime there alot this semester. I have a 2 hour break in between classes in the afternoon and i think once it snows i wont want to drive home just to turn around and drive back.

The two of us are addicted to McDonalds Coke for some reason so after studying we stopped and grabbed one and came home to type up a few assignments and make some dinner. Ozzy is the cook thats for sure, but i helped cut up stuff for tacos. :) we watched some Friends and called it a night.. i guess you cant ask for anything better on a Sunday in Marquette.
